Ocotepec is a town close to Mexico City. Together with two artist friends we were hired to paint on their main square. While starting to paint I heard the story of a 13 year old boy, who hang himself a couple of days ago. I started to reflect on what makes you kill yourself? A lack of self love, a lack of being proud of oneself,….?
Whatever it is I realized the importance of planting the seed of self love from a very young age. That was the start of co-creating with the local kids, asking them why they are proud of themselves…
